ARTWORK: (Hard Copies) Please provide black & white camera ready  art (no halftones) and colored art with correct PMS colors indicated. FPO photo is essential.  Indicate what typeface(s) are used. ARTWORK: (Soft) PC or MAC artwork is acceptable. PC is  preferred as our printers run on DOS-based  software. PC: Corel 7, Aldus Photostyler, Adobe  Photoshop  4.0, Onyx Postershop. MAC: Adobe Illustrator 6.0, Adobe Photoshop  3.0.5, Quark Xpress 3,32, Macromedia Freehand 7.0. PC: Files should be saved as .cdr, .tif, or .eps files with all typefaces converted to “curves” or “paths”. Media accepted: 3 ½” floppies, Iomega Zip disks and CD’s. MAC: Include all elements such as TIFF’s, EPS’s etc.  Typefaces must be converted to paths and  fonts included. Media accepted: 3 ½” floppies, Iomega Zip  disks, CD’s, 5 ½”  Syquest (44, 88, 200 MB),  Iomega Jaz 1 GB. FONTS: Always include both screen and printer fonts.  Adobe Type 1 compatible fonts are  recommended. Avoid  True Type fonts.  (If using True Type fonts, submit a Postscript print to disk file, not an EPS.) Do not use screen fonts with city names such  as Chicago, New York, etc.. as they do not  download properly.

SCANNING: We can scan reflective art, photos, and  preprinted material for 3” x 5” to 8.5” x 13”  on our  flatbed scanner.  Scans may be provided by the  client and should  be at least 40 megabytes and  at least  300 dpi.  PROOFS: A proof print is recommended for all color  critical images prior to final print. All files  disks should be clearly labeled and  sent  with hard copy proof pulled from actual  disk. Additional color proof should also be  sent for color match, but does not have to be  from actual submitted disk. SCALING: Final image size width 267” x 116” File setup 1/10 scale Template size = 26.7 x 11.6 Pictorial resolution = 300 DPI  (30 DPI at final size) -  best DPI for Vinyl is 72. MISC: Transparencies, slides, large sizes  (over 8.5 x 13 to 20 x 22) and significant  enlargements will need to be drum scanned at an additional cost. All logos must be as line art;  Tiffs or Bitmaps will not print satisfactorily. All Black should be 4-color. (85% Cyan, 75% Magenta,  75% Yellow 100% Black) Jobs should be 10% or 25% actual size.
